Moral Arbitration

Public disputes between an individual and a powerful state that has unlawfully taken their money are rare. Such conflicts are often dismissed as impossible to win, lost in bureaucratic silence, or diluted through media narratives favoring the stronger party. The NoMoreSilence project challenges this perception by introducing a phase of moral arbitration, where an eminent global intellectual will critically assess the ethical and public implications of the actions of the large EU country**.

This phase is not merely about shaping public debate but aims to deliver a clear, authoritative moral judgment on the actions of the large EU country** and its implications for justice, public morality, and global trust. Eminent global intellectuals will critically assess these ethical dimensions, publishing assessments that will become crucial milestones and a foundation for a future public debate between the individual and the country involved, guiding both public perception and actions towards accountability during the upcoming Public Tribunal.

As part of the arbitration process, NoMoreSilence will appoint a respected moral authority to evaluate the case and publish their findings. Simultaneously, the government of the large EU country² will be formally invited to appoint its own moral authority to independently review the documentation and present a public ethical assessment on their behalf. Should we not receive a response indicating the intention to appoint such a figure within 15 days of the invitation’s publication, NoMoreSilence will proceed to appoint a second moral authority of its own choosing. This individual will be tasked with studying all available materials and issuing a moral evaluation specifically from the perspective of the state’s potential justification, based solely on the available evidence.

This mechanism ensures that both sides are represented in the moral inquiry, even in cases where the more powerful party remains silent. It transforms the traditional imbalance of power into a structured and transparent platform for moral reckoning.

Through this process, the global public — and the citizens of the Large EU country** — will gain an unfiltered, structured insight into the ethical stakes of this case. They will see not only the facts, but also the deeper implications of a powerful nation persistently legitimizing the presence of unlawfully acquired money in its state budget.
This part of the NoMoreSilence project will also examine the moral dimension of how that same country and its corporation brought the consequences of their misconduct into the United States — using illegally seized funds to expand their business and gain public trust. The moral arbitration will not only address the injustice committed abroad, but also the ethical breach that followed them into the U.S.
