The NoMoreSilence project is currently focused on the fact that money connected to human rights abuse entered U.S. markets more than 20 years ago — and is now helping to finance public services relied on by millions of American citizens, without their being properly informed about its origin. The United States has long stood as a global haven for justice and liberty — a place the world turns to in times of need. It is a homeland of hope for those who have nowhere else to turn. But when dirty money linked to human rights abuse enters the U.S., it doesn’t just threaten legal integrity — it weakens that very hope, both for Americans and for people around the world.

The NoMoreSilence project places strong trust in the strength, integrity, and global credibility of the U.S. legal system, its institutions, and its civic culture. Given the extensive economic, political, and strategic ties between the large EU country** and the United States—particularly through its corporations—the project is actively preparing for potential legal proceedings in the U.S. under a range of legal frameworks. These may include the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act, FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), MLCA (Money Laundering Control Act), ATS (Alien Tort Statute), and IEEPA (International Emergency Economic Powers Act).

Preliminary information on administrative and legal pathways is expected to be shared publicly towards the conclusion of the Public Tribunal phase, at which point formal legal steps may be considered or initiated. These developments reflect both confidence in the U.S. legal framework and the project’s belief that justice, when supported by truth, evidence, and public ethics, can prevail even against the most powerful actors.
