First Book:

NOMORESILENCE

What Would You Do?

Big Justing: Writings and Academic Paintings
50 best ideas and 50 David–Goliath paintings

The First Book is part of the global NoMoreSilence project, aimed at recovering unlawfully taken money and inspiring the "small" to stand up against the "big", with the support of the public. As part of the project, the writing competition (What Would You Do?) is underway. The Book will feature the 50 best writings, each accompanied by an illustration interpreting a modern encounter between David and Goliath from a contemporary humanistic perspective, drawing insights from the NoMoreSilence case, while keeping the identity of the EU country and its associated corporation anonymous.

Due to the fact that the unlawful actions that led to the launch of the NoMoreSilence project have had an impact on U.S. citizens, the book — along with other parts of the project — is primarily intended for the U.S. audience.

These writings will serve as intellectual tools in our Moral Arbitration phase and upcoming Public Tribunal, directly empowering global citizens to evaluate the ethical responsibility of the involved EU country and its corporation, and supporting our ongoing pursuit of justice.

In addition to its usefulness for the specific NMS project, we believe this book will, through its content, offer countless ideas and encouragement to people around the world who suffer injustice at the hands of their own “Goliaths”. The book’s intense and complex artistic concept as a whole carries the potential to transmit its core message to millions worldwide: fight for your rights, no matter how big your “Goliath” may be — which would represent the book’s greatest success and the ultimate validation of its founding idea!

More than a creative outcome, the First Book serves as a strategic engine for the NoMoreSilence project. Through public attention, symbolic weight, and the intellectual clarity of its content, it helps mobilize financial support, strengthen the project’s legal positioning, and attract the world-class legal and ethical advisors needed for the final phase of justice-seeking.

Work on the First Book is currently in progress.

Second Book:

NOMORESILENCE

What Would Goethe Say?

Big Justing: Writings and Academic Paintings
50 Goethean Reflections and 50 Post-Fight Paintings

The Second Book forms a core part of the broader public debate envisioned by the NoMoreSilence project. It will feature the 50 best writings, each accompanied by a selected illustration, depicting a post-fight scene in a modern reinterpretation of David and Goliath. Unlike the First Book, this volume will be more specific, as the identity of the EU country and its company will be revealed. The writings will not only analyze the case but also present Goethe’s thoughts and message for today’s public, offering a reflective and intellectual contribution to justice and morality in contemporary society.

Due to the fact that the unlawful actions that led to the launch of the NoMoreSilence project have had an impact on U.S. citizens, the book — along with other parts of the project — is primarily intended for the U.S. audience.

 Artistic-Intellectual Social Experiment

Both books are conceptualized as artistic-intellectual social experiments, where the freedom of expression of authors aims to initiate a new social rhetoric, bringing the written word back to the center of the most important current social events. Each author’s freedom to choose an accompanying illustration for their work will reveal an invisible, inspiring link between the chosen illustration and the arguments used.

On this basis, the book will, on one hand, be a collection of intellectual expressions, filtered through strong competitive selection, and on the other, artistic visual interpretations of the contemporary encounter between David and Goliath. Despite the existence of proposition elements for illustrations, significant differences between the illustrations will emerge, making each author’s affinity for a specific illustration part of the evaluation criteria based on the overall impression the illustration leaves concerning the author’s profile and written content.

Selection of Cover Illustrations

The final cover illustrations for both books will be those selected by the largest number of authors. As authors choose the most inspiring accompanying illustration for their work, from the 50 offered, without knowing the choices of other authors, the creator of the NoMoreSilence project recognizes the possibility that all authors might even choose the same illustration! Remaining, unchosen, illustrations, if any, will be included at the end of the book. Besides their writings, authors’ overall evaluation may also be influenced by their choice and their mandatory 100-character explanation for that choice. The authors featured in the Second Book will choose from 50 illustrations that, unlike those in the First Book, depict the scene of David and Goliath after the fight has ended.

Collection of Artistic and Intellectual Works

In this context, both books can be seen as collections of individual works by painters and writers, but also as curated sets of their combined expressions—pairs of essays and selected illustrations. Given the richness of the inspirational aspects of the specific case and the diversity of historical, moral, and cultural perspectives of each author, repetition in writings is not expected, nor is similarity among the illustrations, which will be created based only on basic propositional guidelines. It is certain that the authors and painters-illustrators, who may come from as many as 50 different countries, will bring completely different approaches to writing and creating illustrations.

In this sense, each writing-illustration pair can be regarded as a distinct artistic expression. Ultimately, the book itself—composed of these paired works, the original call for submissions, and the overall NoMoreSilence concept—will be recognized by admirers of complex artistic processes as a unified and complete work of art. In addition, each author provides a brief comment on the illustration they selected, as well as on one they did not choose, offering insight into their aesthetic and ethical reasoning. As part of the peer evaluation process, participants also submit concise written feedback for each piece they assess. These accompanying reflections—presented alongside the illustrations and writings—will be included in the book, enriching its intellectual and emotional depth and adding a dynamic, interactive layer that allows readers to engage not only with the finished works, but also with the creative dialogue between contributors.

What further distinguishes these books is the inclusion of the original call texts — the commissioning documents that guided both writers and illustrators. In a time when commissioned art has become rare, these formal prompts recall an earlier tradition, when most artistic works were created in direct response to specific, purposeful requests rather than emerging from non-commissioned artistic production. By presenting the initiating texts alongside the resulting essays and illustrations, the books offer a rare glimpse into the creative dialogue between task and interpretation — between structured intention and personal expression.

Awards for Writers and Artists

Best writers will receive generous financial awards, as described in the rules for the competition What Would You Do?. The author of the best writing in the second, major, competition, What Would Goethe Say?will receive a prize of $1,000,000. Authors of illustrations for both books will receive initial compensation for participation in the competition, awards for the most chosen illustrations, and a percentage from the auction sales of the original illustrations.

The Power of Words and Images

The monetary awards within the NoMoreSilence project are not merely a recognition of excellence but an investment in the power of intellectual and artistic thought. The selected writings and illustrations from the competition are not just artistic expressions; they are concrete intellectual tools in the fight for justice. The initiator of the project believes that it is precisely the awareness of why words and images matter—their capacity to expose injustice and awaken moral clarity—that will inspire the creation of works with lasting social and ethical power. And that is how words and images begin to move the world.

A Unique Endeavor

In a figurative sense, the initiator of the NoMoreSilence project, together with artists and writers, is leading an endeavor to encourage people to fight for their rights using all permissible means. This campaign is based solely on moral and customary principles, relying on words, intellect, art, and humanistic solidarity as its main means. In addition to material compensation, participants will gain honor, pride, and a lasting memory of their involvement in this unique endeavor, leaving behind a legacy through their writings and illustrations.

Other project participants who purchase the book will become owners of unique artistic and collectible memorabilia—both as a testament to their support and a reminder of their contribution to breaking the old social paradigm that nothing can be done against the immorality of the powerful.

Our books will stand as lasting proof that there was a time when powerful states and corporations systematically seized from individuals in other countries what did not belong to them—and that this injustice was met with intellectual and artistic resistance.

The NOMORESILENCE Books webpage will be fully available only after the “What Would You Do?” writing competition has been completed.
