Učilica is an educational brand and project developed by Željko Markota, designed to combine learning and fun for both elementary and preschool children. The project was implemented across multiple formats, including a live television show, multimedia CDs, and online platforms for both PC and mobile devices.
The Učilica daily live TV show aired approximately 2,000 times on national television in both Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The multimedia and online versions were distributed through hundreds of thousands of CDs and various digital channels.

Around 2010, development of a global version of the brand began under the provisional title Qlegends. After several pilot tests in Croatian primary schools—and significant investments of time and money—the project was eventually paused in 2019 due to a lack of funding and the author’s full-time engagement in ongoing legal battles, many of which remain unresolved.

The project introduced numerous innovations in learning methodology and didactics, along with several original and technically sophisticated solutions that were tested and remain ready for broader use. Over time, these innovations have only grown in global relevance and potential.

The author intends to relaunch Učilica as a global brand—a new international name was selected years ago—once legal matters are resolved, financial restitution secured, and sufficient time becomes available for educational initiatives of this kind.
